Purple Powder- Yellow Mandarin, Iris Powder, Cedarwood, Benzoin, Toasted Cinnamon, Patchouli, and Musk
Voted a Top 10 Fragrance of 2023 on ÇaFleureBon by Michelyn Camen, the Editor-in-Chief, Publisher, and Art Director of the number one artistic, niche, natural, and artisanal perfume destination in the world (and a top five global fragrance site), ÇaFleureBon!
Containing nearly 50 ingredients, PURPLE POWDER is my most ambitious formula yet. I wanted to create a fragrance with many different layers, a concept which seems to be far removed from the relatively simplistic mainstream singular-enduring-note releases we experience in vast quantities today. Don't get me wrong -- I have several simplistic fragrances in my collection because they are usually quite versatile, but sometimes you want to go on a much longer olfactory journey.
I find that I wear my most complex fragrances in the Fall and Winter when days are cool and nights are cooler, which motivated me to challenge my nose and create something for the true niche fragrance lover. PURPLE POWDER combines a melange of citruses, warm and cool spices, an enduring powderiness, woody, resinous, balsamic depth, and five different musks. A Gallagher Fragrance would not be complete without Patchouli, with PURPLE POWDER featuring a Patchouli Heart ingredient from IFF-LMR. PURPLE POWDER also features a helping of another Gallagher favorite: Madagascar Vanilla Absolute. So, grab your favorite cool-weather beverage and join us on a journey into PURPLE POWDER.
