Cadence- Plum, Serrano Pepper, Lavender, Cinnamon, Pipe Tobacco, Cade
Introducing Cadence, the latest creation from Gallagher Fragrances—a fragrance with a rhythm all its own. Cadence is where bold meets comforting, and the familiar mingles with the unexpected.
Cadence opens with a burst of Plum and Serrano Pepper, a little sweet and a lot spicy, grabbing your attention right from the first spray. Cinnamon and Honey warm things up before there's a nuanced twist—Neroli, Lavender, and Rosemary, bright and herbal, playing against the ever-present depth of Oakwood and classic Pipe Tobacco, a nod to the classic comforts.
As Cadence settles, it reveals its deeper layers—Cedarwood and Amber, wrapping around the rugged earthiness of Vetiver and Patchouli. Cade and Styrax lend a light smoky edge, tying it all together with a sense of mystery and character.
Cadence is about balance—where old meets new, unexpected combinations just work, and the resulting rhythm carries you.
Notes from the Perfumer (AKA. Daniel):
The majority of tobacco fragrances that I have sampled seem to rely heavily upon sweet ingredients as the backbone, such as vanilla and cotton-candy-esque Ethyl Maltol. With Cadence, my goal was to simply (not-so-simply) create a spicy pipe tobacco fragrance, without relying heavily upon vanilla (a spice) as the co-star ingredient. In Cadence, I turned to my old friend, cinnamon, along with a fairly new woody-amber friend to my perfume organ, Ambrocenide® (Symrise). Cinnamon and Ambrocenide® both represent only ~0.07% of the fragrance concentrate (before dilution), but their potency would cause you to guess more.
